The port area

The port is composed of protecting breakwaters and berthing docks. The breakwaters at the harbour entrance are 20 meters in length (10 m + 10 m) serving to protect the harbour waters from the open sea and they are used for berthing. The piers are massive structures constructed from rock and concrete, in good condition and usable. The berthing quays are 50 meters in length, with a sea depth of 1 meter, massively built of stone and concrete and in poor condition. The berthing capacity is 15 boats.

The port has equipment for berthing and a slipway. There is the possibility of water and power supply connections and a telephone line.

Port of Lovran

The port area
28.679 m2, with 3.181 m2 of land and 25.498 m2 of sea.

The port is composed of an operational and protecting pier and an operative quay (south and east) and a berthing area for vessels. The operational and protecting pier is 60 meters in length, with wall depths of 3 to 4.5 meters and with a holding capacity for 2 to 3 vessels, depending on the type of berthing. The outer part of the pier has a protective function utilising rip-rap stone defence.

The operational length of the quay is 60 meters, the depth at the wall is 4 to 5 meters, with a capacity for 2 to 3 boats, depending on size and type of berthing. The shore is exposed to the sea without natural or artificial protection (off-shore).

The operational east quay is 28 meters in length, with depths at the walls of 2.5 to 3 meters, with the capacity to hold 1 to 2 vessels, depending on the size or type of berthing. The shore is exposed to the sea without natural or artificial protection (off-shore).

The berthing area of the harbour totals 135 meters in length, with average depths at the quay wall of 0.6 to 2 meters and with the capacity for 50 boats. It is composed of a protective breakwater 50 meters in length, with a working area of 120 2 and including a minor 7 meter protective breakwater at the entrance.

The harbour has equipment for berthing, a crane with a 5 tonne capacity and harbour lights that are not in an operational condition. There is a link to the public road network, power supply and telephone line.

The town urban environment offers all the necessary services at a higher standard.

Port of Medveja

The port consists of an operational pier and a berthing quay. The operational pier is 45 meters in length with depths of between 3 to 4 meters and with a capacity for 3 smaller vessels or a few boats. The berthing dock is made from natural stone with temporary concrete quays with a 20 boat capacity.

The harbour is provided with vessel berthing equipment and a slipway. There is a connection to the public road network.

Port of Mošćenička Draga

The port is composed of its operational quay, protecting breakwater and a quay for berthing. The operative quay is 60 meters in length, with wall depth of approximately 4 meters and with the capacity for 2 to 3 boats, depending on the size and method of berthing. The protecting breakwater, has a protective function and is used for berthing. It is 30 meters in length. The berthing quay is constructed from massive shore walls 160 meters in length, with depths of 2 to 3 meters and with a capacity for 50 boats.

The harbour has equipment for berthing, harbour lights and a boat lifting crane. There is a link to the public road network, water supply, power supply and telephone lines.

The port includes 2 smaller hard-built storage warehouses.

Port of Opatija

The port area

The port consists of one operational pier, an operative quay for vessel fuel supply and a berthing quay. The operational pier is 100 meters in length, operational on both sides, with wall sea depth of between 4 and 5.5 meters and with a capacity for one larger or three smaller vessels. The operational quay used for vessel fuel supply is 34 meters in length with a sea depth of 4.5 meters. The berthing quay is 200 meters in length in total, with quay wall depths of 1 to 2 meters and with the capacity to accommodate 70 boats. There is also capacity for over 70 more boats on the anchoring berths. All parts and port structures are solid buildings made of stone and concrete, in good condition and usable.

The port has equipment for berthing, a crane with a 5 tonne capacity, harbour lights, one smaller hand operated lift and a small slipway. The port has access to the public road network, water and power supply and the telephone lines.

The town urban environment offers all the necessary services at a higher standard.

Port of Opatija - Dražica Mooring

The port is composed of a pier and a berthing dock. The pier is 40 meters in length with wall sea depths of 1 to 2 meters, functioning as protection for the port waters and used for berthing. It is massively built, made of rock and concrete, in good condition and usable. The berthing quay is 50 meters in length, with a water depth of 0.5 to 1.2 meters, a massive type structure made of stone and concrete, in good condition and usable. The holding capacity is 25 boats.

The port has equipment for berthing and has water and power supply connections and a telephone line.

Port of Opatija - Ičići Mooring

The operational pier is 20 meters in length, with sea depths at the quay wall of 3 meters and a holding capacity for 2 smaller boats. The 20 meter breakwater serves to protect the harbour waters and is used for berthing. It's made of rip-rap stone defence 200 meters in length. The berthing quay is a massively built structure with an overall length of 200 meters and with depths of 1 to 1.5 meters. It has the capacity for 100 boats.

The port has equipment for berthing and a slipway. There is public road access, water and power supply connections and a telephone line.

Port of Opatija - Portić Mooring

The port is composed of the operational breakwater, an operational pier, a berthing quay and the small Mandrać marina. The protective operational pier is 90 meters in length, with water depths of between 2.5 to 4 meters, with a holding capacity for 2 smaller ships and 15 boats. The operative part of the pier is occupied by a berthing area. The operational pier is 60 meters in length, with water depths of between 2.5 to 4.5 meters and with a capacity for 3 vessels. The berthing quay is 70 meters in length, with a water depth of 2 to 3 meters and with the capacity to hold 25 boats. The small marina is the ancient part of the harbour, square in shape with the internal dimensions of 20 X 20 meters and with the capacity to hold 20 small boats.

All the structures in the port are massively built solid buildings made of stone and concrete and in good condition for use.

The port has equipment for berthing, two harbour lights and a slipway. There is water and power supply connections, a telephone line and access to the road network.

The town urban environment offers all the necessary services at a higher standard.

Port of Volosko - Preluk Mooring

The harbour and anchorage territorially belong to the City of Opatija. It is composed of natural rock coastline, partially protected by the natural terrain configuration, with an overall length of 200 meters including mooring bollards and solid structures – warehouses.

Mooring spots are individual, temporarily built and with a total seasonal mooring capacity of 30 boats.

The port is equipped with a ship crane and is connected to the road network.
